The Hoppe Multipoint Lock is designed specifically for sliding patio doors, providing reliable two-point security with a clean, modern appearance. This lock features two hooks that extend into the door frame when engaged – one positioned above the handle and one below – creating a secure connection at multiple points along the door edge.

With a 35mm (1-3/8 inch) backset and a 20mm (3/4 inch) wide faceplate measuring 30 inches in length, this lock is built to fit a wide range of sliding door configurations. The 7mm spindle ensures compatibility with various Hoppe handleset trims and other standard hardware.

The locking mechanism operates manually: when the door is closed, a black tab on the faceplate is depressed, allowing the handle to turn and extend both hooks into the locked position. From the exterior, the door locks with a key via the American cylinder positioned above the handle. From the interior, a thumbturn provides quick and convenient locking.

This lock is retrofit-friendly and can be installed on most wood sliding doors, making it an excellent choice for upgrading existing hardware without major modifications.
