This Giesse INOX mortise lock case is designed for multipoint lock systems on terrace and balcony doors. Constructed from stainless steel (INOX), this lock case provides durable, corrosion-resistant performance for exterior applications.

The lock features a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 3-5/16 inch (85mm) PZ spacing (handle center to cylinder center). The faceplate measures 7/8 inch (22mm) wide by 14-7/8 inches (378mm) long, with a 3/4 inch (20mm) deadbolt projection.

How do I change the handing on this lock?

Push in the spring latch to the unlocked position, insert a screwdriver into the round hole on the back of the lock case to push the latch out, rotate the latch, then push it back in and test the operation before installing.

How does this lock connect to the upper and lower extensions?

Connector plates attach to the top and bottom of the gearbox with small machine screws. These connectors have stud posts that link to the upper and lower extensions.

What is the PZ measurement?

PZ refers to the distance from the center of the handle spindle to the center of the cylinder (keyhole). This lock has an 85mm PZ spacing.
