G-U Shootbolt Kit for Pella – 50/92 (4990330-KIT)

This G-U multipoint lock kit is designed as a replacement for Pella doors with shootbolt-style locking systems. The 2-piece, 3-point lock configuration provides secure locking at three points along the door edge, using top and bottom shootbolts combined with a central locking mechanism.

Configured with a 50mm backset and 92mm PZ (handle spacing), this kit fits doors up to 81 inches tall. For taller doors, an extension is available separately. The gear can also be cropped to accommodate shorter door heights, giving you flexibility during installation.

This kit includes the main gear, top shootbolt, and bottom shootbolt. You can reuse your existing handles and trim, making this a cost-effective replacement solution. The lock uses a standard 5-pin American cylinder for keying.

Notes

  • Minor modifications may be required during installation
  • For active door only
  • Replacement doors may have different heights requiring adjustment
  • If door panel height is 77-1/4 inches, remove 4 inches from the new gear when in unlocked position
  • Replacement latch and deadbolt positions may differ slightly from original
  • File the hole in the bottom of the strike 1/8 to 3/8 inch on both latch and deadbolt openings
  • Enlarging the strike hole is recommended rather than moving the strike plate
