1" American Cylinder – Schlage SC1, Brushed Chrome (6-C0971-52-9-BC)

This 1-inch American cylinder with Schlage keyway is designed as a replacement for G-U, Ferco, Pella, Peachtree, and other locking door handles that use American-style cylinders. The cylinder features a durable brass body with a brushed chrome faceplate for a clean, modern appearance.

The cylinder includes a 2-1/8 inch flat tail piece and fits doors with thicknesses of 1-3/4 inches (45mm) or 2-1/4 inches (57mm). It uses the Schlage 5-pin SC1 keyway, one of the most common residential keyways in North America. This cylinder is rekeyable, allowing you to change the key without replacing the entire cylinder.

For customers with specific keyway requirements, this cylinder is also available for special order in eight different keyways.
