Hoppe Multipoint Lock Replacement Kit – 35mm Backset, 92mm PZ (4990280-KIT)

This Hoppe Multipoint Lock Replacement Kit is designed to replace the 93-inch Fuhr multipoint lock in both automatic and manual versions. The kit accommodates doors ranging from 91-3/8 inches to 95-5/16 inches tall and requires cutting to the appropriate length during installation.

The replacement lock features a 35mm (1-3/8 inch) backset and 16mm (5/8 inch) faceplate width, matching the original Fuhr specifications. The handle height is 36 inches, which is 1 inch taller than the original Fuhr lock. During installation, simply cut off the extra 1-inch portion that extends past the bottom of the door using a hacksaw.

A key difference from the original Fuhr lock is the top locking mechanism. This replacement kit does not include a top roller. Instead, it uses a shootbolt at the extreme top end of the lock. The top shootbolt extension must be cut to the correct length, and a socket strike must be installed. The bottom roller remains in the same position as the Fuhr lock at 29-1/2 inches below the handle.
