This Hoppe multipoint lock replacement kit is designed to replace both automatic and manual versions of FUHR 93-inch 2-roller multipoint locks. The kit provides a complete solution for doors equipped with Old Hoppe, Fuhr, Roto, Weather Shield, or other multipoint lock brands that may no longer be available.

The lock features a manual operation with two rollers for secure door engagement. With a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ measurement, this kit fits a wide range of door configurations. The 5/8 inch (16mm) wide faceplate and 1 inch (25.4mm) deadbolt throw provide reliable security.

This multipoint lock can be trimmed to fit different height doors, accommodating overall door lengths from 89.76 inches to 99.41 inches (2280mm to 2525mm). The top extension allows for a maximum cutoff of 2.36 inches (60mm).

Notes

Rollers are measured with rollers in locked position
Lock will need to be trimmed on bottom due to difference in handle height between new and old locks
Top extension will also need trimming to fit your specific door height
Replacement process may involve modification to door jamb—roller strikes may need to be moved up or down
The small mis-handing latch must be depressed to operate lock
Latch handing can be changed by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, pushing forward, twisting, and releasing

Attach the top extension to the lower assembly, lay the old and new locks side by side to determine the correct length, mark the top extension, and use a hacksaw to cut the excess from the top. The maximum cutoff from the top extension is 2.36 inches (60mm).

Yes, insert a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, push forward, twist the latch, and release to change the handing direction.
