Hoppe 2 Roller Multipoint Lock Kit – 35mm Backset, 36" Handle Height (4990200-KIT)

This Hoppe 2 Roller Manual Multipoint Lock Replacement Kit is designed as a direct replacement for discontinued FUHR roller multipoint locks. It works with both manual and automatic FUHR versions, including parts #499010199 and #499010299.

The complete kit includes the bottom gear, top extension, and stainless steel screws needed for installation. With a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate width, this kit fits doors ranging from approximately 68 to 79 inches tall depending on handle height placement.

Notes

This kit is designed for 36 inch handle height. When used as a replacement for FUHR locks with 37 inch handle height, the metal faceplate will be 1 inch shorter, leaving a gap at the bottom of the door panel.
The gap can usually be filled with the cutoff from the top extension if desired.
The lock handing can be changed. See installation resources for instructions.

Yes, but the faceplate will be 1 inch shorter, leaving a small gap at the bottom of the door panel. This gap can typically be filled with the cutoff piece from the top extension.

Yes, the lock handing can be reversed. Hoppe provides instructions for changing the handing direction.

What door heights does this replacement kit fit?

At 36 inch handle height, it fits doors from approximately 68 to 79 inches tall. At 37 inch handle height, it can fit doors up to about 80 inches tall.
