Hoppe Multipoint Lock Kit – 35/92, 16mm Faceplate (49902-1635T-09-Kit)

This Hoppe multipoint lock replacement kit is designed for doors with Old Hoppe, Fuhr, Roto, or other multipoint lock brands. The kit provides a complete solution with a bottom gear assembly, top extension, and stainless steel installation screws.

The lock features a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ measurement (handle center to cylinder center). The 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate width and 1 inch (25.4mm) deadbolt throw provide secure locking. Handle height is positioned at 36 inches (914mm).

This kit fits doors ranging from 79.13 inches to 92.52 inches in height. The top extension can be trimmed up to 3.94 inches (100mm) to accommodate different door heights.

Notes

Operation: Manual function - lift handle and turn thumbturn or key to extend deadbolt; turn thumbturn or key and depress lever to unlock
Latch Handing: Can be reversed by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, pushing forward, twisting, and releasing
Mis-handing Latch: The small mis-handing latch must be depressed to operate the lock - test operation before closing door

Installation Instructions

Lay the old lock and new lock side by side to determine length
Mark the top extension for proper length (extension is longer than needed)
Use a hacksaw to cut excess from top of extension
Attach top extension to lower assembly
Install complete lock, ensuring handle height matches original position
Test operation before closing door
