This comprehensive multipoint lock replacement kit is designed to replace a variety of discontinued multipoint locks from brands such as Fuhr, Roto, and others that are no longer available. Before purchasing, please confirm all measurements to ensure this kit is the correct replacement for your door.

The kit fits doors with an overall length between 85.47 inches (2171mm) and 89.41 inches (2271mm). The top extension is croppable, allowing a maximum cutoff of 3.94 inches (100mm) to achieve the proper fit for your door.

Notes

  • The top extension is croppable to fit your specific door length
  • The small mishanding latch must be depressed to operate the lock
  • Latch handing can be reversed by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, pushing forward, twisting, and releasing

Installation Instructions for Cutting to Length

  • Lay the old lock and new lock side by side to determine the correct length
  • The top shootbolt extension has serrated teeth that fit into the middle extension receptacle (coupler)
  • Extend the top bolt before cutting
  • With the shootbolt in the locked (extended) position, use a hacksaw to cut equal amounts from both the front (smooth side) and back side (serrated teeth) of the top extension
  • Ensure as many teeth as possible fit into the receptacle with a gap of less than 3 teeth between serrated ends
  • Install the cover plate to reinforce the connection between middle and upper shootbolt extensions
  • Test door operation BEFORE closing

Operation

  • To lock: Lift handle to extend upper and lower bolts, then turn thumb turn to secure in locked position
  • To unlock: Turn thumb turn or key and depress lever
