Notes

Designed to replace discontinued Fuhr, Roto, and other multipoint lock brands
The top shootbolt extension has serrated teeth that fit into the middle extension's receptacle (coupler)
Gap between serrated ends must be less than 3 teeth after cutting
The small mishanding latch must be depressed to operate the lock
Test door operation BEFORE closing after installation

Installation: Cutting to Length

Lay the old lock and new lock side by side to determine proper length
Mark the top extension for proper length
Extend the top bolt (locked position) before cutting
Using a hacksaw, cut off the same amount from the front (smooth side) and back side (serrated teeth) of the top extension
Install the cover plate to reinforce the connection between middle and upper shootbolt extensions

Operation

To lock: Lift handle to extend upper and lower bolts, then turn thumbturn to secure in locked position
To unlock: Turn thumbturn or key and depress lever
To reverse latch handing: Insert a small screwdriver into the small hole in the back of the latch, push forward, twist latch, and release
