Fuhr 3-Hook Sliding Patio Door Lock – 6' 8" Door (40213)

This Fuhr multipoint sliding patio door lock is designed for 6-foot 8-inch doors and features a 3-hook locking system for secure operation. The lock body has a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and a 4.72 inch (120mm) PZ measurement, which is the distance from the center of the spindle hole to the center of the cylinder hole.

The faceplate measures 5/8 inch (16mm) wide by 64-5/8 inches (1641mm) long. The three hooks are positioned with two below the handle and one above. When measuring from the tip of each hook to the center of the handle, the bottom hooks are located at 8-1/2 inches (216mm) and 24-1/4 inches (616mm), while the top hook is positioned at 20 inches (508mm) when the door is in the unlocked position.

Note that the cylinder will not operate when the lock is in the unlocked position. Some doors may have a top section to extend the lock to the top of the door. These extensions are no longer available and must be reused from the original installation if applicable.

Why won't my cylinder turn when the door is unlocked?

Top extensions for this lock are no longer available. If your door requires one, you must reuse the original extension from your existing installation.
