Amesbury P2000 Active Gearbox – 60/92, American Cylinder (P2000-60LC)

This Amesbury P2000 active gearbox is designed as a replacement lock case for Amesbury multipoint lock systems. It features a deadbolt and spring latch only, making it a gearbox replacement rather than a complete multipoint lock. No faceplate is included with this unit.

The gearbox is configured for American cylinders with a 2-3/8 inch (60mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ (handle center to cylinder center). The deadbolt throw measures 1 inch (25.4mm). This lock case will replace the active gearbox on Amesbury MPL systems with matching size and configuration.

No, this is a gearbox only with a deadbolt and spring latch. It does not include a faceplate rail and is not a complete multipoint lock system.

How do I reverse the latch handing?

Extend the deadbolt and pull the spring latch out, rotate it to the correct position, then check the function of the lock before closing the door.

What tools do I need for installation?

You will need a T-20 torx star bit. The screws require 12-13 pounds of torque for proper installation.
