Premier P2000 Gearbox – 35/92 (P2000-35EC)

The Premier P2000 gearbox is a replacement component for multipoint lock systems on active doors. This gearbox features a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ spacing (handle center to cylinder center). It is compatible with doors using 5/8 inch (16mm) or 25/32 inch (20mm) faceplates.

This is the gearbox only and does not include a faceplate. It is designed for repairing or replacing broken gears in existing multipoint lock assemblies. The gearbox uses a Euro/Profile cylinder type.

No, this is the gearbox only. It is designed to repair or replace broken gears in existing multipoint lock assemblies that already have a faceplate installed.

What tools do I need to install this gearbox?

You will need a T-20 Torx star bit to attach the gearbox to the extensions. The screws require 12-13 pounds of torque for proper installation.

How do I know which backset I need?

Measure from the edge of the door to the center of the handle bore hole. This gearbox has a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset. Premier P2000 gearboxes are also available in 1-3/4 inch (45mm) and 2-3/8 inch (60mm) backsets.
