GU Inactive Multipoint Shootbolt – 35/92, Ferguard (6-UI638-35-0-FG)

This GU inactive multipoint lock shootbolt assembly is designed for passive doors in a multipoint door system. Part of the Europa series, this 2-point lock features an adjustable handle height with a standard setting of 35 inches (889mm) and a total length of 72.047 inches (1830mm).

The lock uses an American cylinder with a flat tailpiece, positioned below the handle. With a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ measurement, this assembly is built for compatibility with standard multipoint door configurations. The 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate features a silver Ferguard finish for durability and corrosion resistance.

This is the main assembly only and does NOT include the top or bottom shootbolt extensions, which must be purchased separately.

Notes

  • This lock does not have a receptacle for a spring latch and must be used with an astragal
  • Active door deadbolt enters receiving hole in face of inactive lock only when inactive handles have been lifted and shootbolts engaged
  • When handles of inactive lock are turned up and shootbolts engaged, the mechanism in the receiver hole lifts up allowing the deadbolt to fit inside
  • Unless passive door is shut and shootbolts engaged, active door cannot be locked
