GU Europa Monolock – 50/92, SS (6-C4873-50-0-SS)

The GU Europa Monolock is a single-point door lock designed for both interior and exterior door applications. This lock gear features a 2-inch (50mm) backset and 3-5/8-inch (92mm) PZ spacing (handle to cylinder center), making it compatible with standard door preparations used in multipoint lock systems.

This Monolock uses an American cylinder system with a 90-degree turn of the key or thumbturn to engage the deadbolt. The Europa series positions the key cylinder below the handle. The 1-inch (25mm) deadbolt throw provides solid security, while the lever-controlled mechanism releases both the deadbolt and latch for easy operation.

The non-handed design allows the latch to be easily reversed during installation, eliminating the need to order specific handing. Heavy-duty mortise construction with a reinforced lever return spring system ensures long-lasting performance.

No, this GU Europa Monolock is designed for single-point doors only and cannot replace or be used with multipoint lock systems.

How do I reverse the latch handing on this lock?

The latch is easily reversible without special tools. Insert a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, push forward, twist, and release to change the handing.

What type of cylinder does this lock use?
