Trilennium 3070 Multipoint Lock – Left-Hand Inswing (499130073)

The Trilennium 3070 Series Multipoint Lock delivers secure, multi-point locking with robust latch bolts. This lock is commonly used by Pella and other window and door manufacturers, making it an excellent replacement option for existing multipoint lock systems.

This lock assembly features a 2-3/8 inch (60mm) backset with a 7/8 inch (22mm) wide stainless steel faceplate measuring 65-9/16 inches (1665mm) in length with radius ends. The deadbolt throw extends 15/16 inches (24mm), while the top latching bolt reaches 33-3/32 inches (841mm) and the bottom latching bolt extends 24-5/16 inches (618mm).

The lock uses an American cylinder with a flat tail piece and a 1/4 inch (7mm) spindle diameter. It comes set up for left-hand inswing doors but can be reversed for right-hand applications.

Notes

  • All locks are set up for inswing doors. For outswing doors, the panic function must be changed before installation. Use opposite handing for outswing (LHIS uses RHIS).
  • Faceplate widths are available in 7/8 inch or 1 inch.
  • Handing is determined by hinge location as viewed from outside - if hinge is on the left, it is a left-hand door.
  • Handle moves down only.
  • To lock: Use key or thumb turn to extend latch to deadbolt function.
  • To unlock: Use key outside or thumb turn/lever inside.
  • Compatible with Trilennium Pinnacle, Eclipse, Rectangular, Curved, or Grip hardware for standard 2-1/8 inch cross bore.
  • For optional 1-11/16 inch cross bore, use handle plates 1-7/8 inches or wider.
  • Horizon, Europa, and Emtek plates (1-7/8 to 2 inches wide) will not cover the 2-1/8 inch cross bore used by Pella and other doors with larger holes.
  • Rocky Mountain 2-1/2 inch wide plates fit either cross bore size.

How do I determine the handing for my door?

As viewed from outside, the hinge location determines handing. If the hinge is on the left side, it is a left-hand door.

Can this lock be used on an outswing door?

Yes, but the panic function must be changed before installation. For outswing doors, use the opposite handing - a left-hand inswing lock would be used as right-hand for outswing applications.

What handle hardware is compatible with this lock?

For the standard 2-1/8 inch cross bore, use Trilennium Pinnacle, Eclipse, Rectangular, Curved, or Grip hardware. Rocky Mountain 2-1/2 inch wide plates also fit either cross bore size.
