ESSVE Multipoint Lock Kit – 8'0" Door (4990618-KIT)

This multipoint lock replacement kit is designed specifically for 8-foot doors originally equipped with ESSVE multipoint locking systems. The kit provides a complete solution for replacing worn or damaged ESSVE locks with compatible Amesbury components.

The replacement kit features square ends rather than the original radius ends, and can be trimmed to fit your specific door panel height requirements up to 81-1/8 inches. The gear and hook lock boxes are designed to fit back into the existing mortised groove in your door panel, minimizing installation complexity.

Notes

The hooks are positioned slightly differently than the original and may require enlarging the strike plate hole
Atrium Doors: The original handle set trim for Atrium (Euro Cylinder Version) will not work with this replacement; new trim is required
Marvin / Pease Doors: Original handle set trim with American Version lock has installation screw hole spacing of 6-3/8 inches. This trim will work with minor modifications to the lock body cylinder hole where the bottom screw goes through (slightly enlarge with a rasp)
Some Pease doors had different bore hole spacing with 2-3/8 inch wide handle set trim; contact us if this applies to your door
Reverse Lock Handing: Change the direction of the spring latch by first extending the deadbolt, then pull out the spring latch and rotate accordingly
Lock Operation: This lock has an anti-slam/mishandling latch that needs to be pushed in to operate the lock
