Essve 3-Point Multipoint Lock – 45/92, American Cylinder (499051599)

This Essve multipoint lock by Truth features a 3-point locking system with two hooks and a deadbolt, designed for 8-foot tall doors. The lock accepts an American cylinder and was originally available in both American and European cylinder configurations. This is the American cylinder version.

This lock was commonly used by Pease, Marvin, and other door manufacturers. The faceplate measures 81 inches (2057mm) in overall length with radius ends and a width of 25/32 inches (20mm). The backset is 1-3/4 inches (45mm) with standard 3-5/8 inch (92mm) handle spacing.

Will this lock work on double French doors?

The replacement can work on double French doors but may require additional modifications, including enlarging the receptacle hole in the passive door. Note that no replacement is currently available if the passive lock fails.
