Flat Tail Piece for American Cylinders – 2-3/8" (14287)

This replacement flat tail piece is designed for American style keyed cylinders. At 2-3/8 inches (60mm) in length, it features 14 break-away score marks at 1/8 inch increments, allowing you to customize the length for thinner doors up to 2-1/4 inches (57mm) thick.

The tail piece connects the cylinder to the lock mechanism, transferring the turning motion of the key to operate the lock. This design with break-away points provides flexibility for various door thicknesses without needing multiple parts.
