Giesse INOX Multipoint Lock Case – 45/92 (04699000-NOCP)

This Giesse INOX mortise lock case is designed for multipoint lock systems on terrace and balcony doors. Built with durable stainless steel construction, this lock case features a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ spacing. The faceplate measures 7/8 inch (22mm) wide by 14-7/8 inches (378mm) long, with a 3/4 inch (20mm) deadbolt projection.

This Giesse 22/45/92 lock is sometimes used with Hoppe trim on aluminum terrace doors. The lock operates by lifting the handle to extend the deadbolt and additional locking devices, then using a key or thumb turn to secure in the locked position.

Notes

  • This lock does NOT come with connector plates – you must reuse your existing connector plates to connect the lock case to the auxiliary locks
  • Connector plates attach to the top and bottom of the gearbox with small machine screws and have a stud post that connects to upper and lower extensions
  • Compatible with Hoppe trim on aluminum terrace doors
  • Handing can be changed in the field: push in spring latch (unlocked position), insert screwdriver in round hole on back of lock case and push latch out, pull latch out and rotate, push spring latch back into lock case, then test lock operation before installing

Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't this lock come with connector plates?

This version (NOCP) is sold without connector plates so you can reuse your existing connector plates when replacing just the lock case. The connector plates attach to the top and bottom of the gearbox and connect to the upper and lower extensions.

Can I change the handing on this lock?

Yes, the handing can be reversed in the field. Push in the spring latch while unlocked, insert a screwdriver in the round hole on the back to push the latch out, rotate it, push it back in, and test before installing.

What does PZ mean on a multipoint lock?

PZ refers to the distance from the center of the handle spindle to the center of the cylinder keyhole. This lock has a 92mm PZ measurement, which is a common European standard.
