Essve 3-Point Multipoint Lock – 45/92, American Cylinder (499051499)

This Essve multipoint lock features a 3-point locking system with 2 hooks and a deadbolt, providing secure multi-point engagement for residential entry doors. Designed with a slot for an American cylinder, this lock was distributed by Truth Hardware and commonly used by Marvin, Pease, and other door manufacturers.

The lock has a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and standard 3-5/8 inch (92mm) handle spacing (PZ). The faceplate measures 25/32 inches (20mm) wide with an overall length of 68 inches (1727mm) featuring radius (rounded) ends. This lock fits 6 foot 8 inch and 7 foot tall doors.

This item is discontinued. A custom replacement is available.
The original Essve was available with either an American or European profile cylinder. This is the American cylinder version.
For double French doors, the replacement will work but may require slightly enlarging the receptacle hole in the passive door.
If the passive lock fails at a later date, no replacement is currently available.
