Interlock Compression Lock – 50/92 (DL01-6540)

The Interlock Assa Abloy Optimum Compression Lock (model DL01-6450) is a multipoint lock body featuring both a deadlocking spring latch and a deadbolt for enhanced security. When locking rods are connected and engaged, this lock functions as a 4-point locking system.

This lock has a 50mm (2 inches) backset and a 92mm (3-5/8 inches) PZ measurement (handle center to cylinder center). The faceplate measures 15/16 inches (24mm) wide by 8-7/16 inches (214mm) long. The deadbolt throw is 3/4 inches (20mm).

What does PZ mean on a multipoint lock?

PZ refers to the distance from the center of the handle spindle to the center of the cylinder (key hole). This lock has a 92mm PZ measurement.

How do I know if I need the 85mm or 92mm PZ version?

Measure from the center of your existing handle hole to the center of your cylinder hole. If it measures approximately 3-5/8 inches (92mm), this lock will fit. If it measures 3-5/16 inches (85mm), you need the 85mm version.

What makes this a 4-point lock?

When locking rods are connected to the top and bottom of this lock body and engaged, the system locks at four points: the spring latch, the deadbolt, and the two rod locking points.
