Replacement Flushbolt Hardware for Double French Door Inactive Panels

When you have double French doors with a multipoint locking system, the inactive panel—the door that stays closed most of the time—needs its own secure locking mechanism. HOPPE inactive flushbolts provide that security by extending rods into the door frame at the top and bottom, keeping the stationary door firmly in place. MPLocks carries the complete range of HOPPE flushbolt components, including the flip lever mechanisms and individual extension rods in various lengths to accommodate different door heights and configurations.

Precision-Engineered for Reliable French Door Security

HOPPE flushbolt hardware is constructed from durable stainless steel for long-lasting corrosion resistance and reliable performance. The flip lever mechanism mounts flush with the door edge for a clean appearance while providing smooth, consistent operation. HOPPE has manufactured two versions of this system: one using 3/8 inch (9.5mm) rods and another using 5/16 inch (8mm) rods. The current production features a 3/4 inch (20mm) wide faceplate, so identifying your existing configuration is essential when ordering replacement parts.

Multiple Backset and Finish Options Available

These flushbolt mechanisms come in different backset measurements—24mm and 30mm—to match your door's existing mortise pocket. Finish options include polished brass and brushed stainless steel to coordinate with your active door hardware. The radius-end faceplates provide a refined look while the concealed rod design keeps the locking mechanism hidden from view when the door is closed.

Selecting the Correct Rod Length for Your Door Height

Replacement rods are available in lengths ranging from approximately 26 inches to nearly 79 inches, allowing you to find the right fit for your specific door height. The rods feature M8 threaded ends that connect securely to the flushbolt mechanism, and they can be installed on either the top or bottom extension.
