GU Cremona multipoint locks with rollers provide smooth, reliable door engagement for European-style entry systems. These roller-based locking mechanisms offer secure multi-point contact without the aggressive engagement of hook or shootbolt styles, making them ideal for doors requiring easy operation with dependable hold. Note that G-U Ferco has discontinued most roller versions, so availability is limited—contact our team for current stock information.

View full detailsThe GU Ferco Cremona roller system represents a specific approach to multipoint door security, using roller pins that engage smoothly with strike plates along the door frame. MPLocks carries remaining inventory of these increasingly rare roller configurations, including 2-roller and 4-roller versions along with essential components like shootbolt extensions and reversing gears. As G-U Ferco has phased out most roller variants from their product line, finding compatible replacement parts requires specialized sourcing—our stock includes both complete lock assemblies and individual components for repair and maintenance of existing installations.
Unlike hook or tongue-style multipoint locks that require more force to engage, roller mechanisms glide into their strike pockets with minimal resistance. This makes them particularly well-suited for high-traffic commercial entries or residential applications where ease of use is a priority. The 4-roller configurations distribute locking force across multiple points along the door height, while the 16mm faceplate width matches standard European routing dimensions. These rollers work in conjunction with shootbolt components at the top and bottom of the door for complete perimeter security.
Many GU Cremona roller systems are designed for doors exceeding 81 inches in height, requiring shootbolt extensions to reach frame engagement points. The available extensions can be trimmed by up to 10 inches to accommodate specific door heights, and reversing gears coordinate the movement between handle operation and bolt extension. Bottom shootbolts with solid one-piece construction provide durable ground-level security, working in sequence with the roller mechanisms positioned along the door's vertical span.
When replacing a GU Cremona roller lock, two critical measurements determine compatibility: backset and PZ spacing. The backset is the distance from the faceplate edge to the center of the cylinder or handle spindle—common sizes include 40mm for this system. The PZ measurement indicates the distance from the cylinder center to the handle spindle center, with 85mm being standard for many GU configurations. Measure your existing lock carefully before ordering, as these dimensions must match exactly for proper handle and cylinder alignment.
Because GU Ferco has discontinued most roller versions, finding exact replacements can be challenging.
