Active Euro Profile Cylinders for HOPPE HLS9000 Multipoint Locks

Euro profile cylinders are the heart of any European-style multipoint lock system, controlling the locking and unlocking mechanism through a standardized cylinder format. MPLocks carries HOPPE active Euro cylinders designed to integrate seamlessly with HLS9000 handleset trim, providing reliable keyed entry on the exterior side while offering convenient thumb turn operation from inside your home. These cylinders replace worn or damaged units in existing HOPPE multipoint lock installations, restoring full functionality to your door hardware.

90-Degree Thumb Turn Design for Visual Security Confirmation

Many cylinders in this collection feature HOPPE's newer 90-degree thumb turn design with crescent or D-knob configurations. Unlike traditional 360-degree rotating cylinders, the 90-degree design allows you to see at a glance whether your door is locked or unlocked based on the thumb turn position. This provides immediate visual feedback for added peace of mind, especially useful when leaving home or before going to bed. Several models can be converted to 360-degree operation if you prefer the traditional feel.

Schlage SC1 Keyway Compatibility for Easy Rekeying

Most HOPPE active Euro cylinders in this collection use the Schlage SC1 keyway, one of the most common keyways in North America. This means your local locksmith can easily rekey the cylinder to match your existing house keys, eliminating the need to carry a separate key for your multipoint lock door. The 5-pin configuration provides reliable security while maintaining broad compatibility with standard locksmith tools and key blanks.

Measuring for the Correct Cylinder Length

Selecting the proper cylinder requires measuring your door thickness and backset configuration. Cylinders are specified by their inside and outside dimensions, such as 31.5mm/31.5mm for standard 1-3/4 inch doors or 40.5mm/40.5mm for thicker 2-1/8 to 3 inch doors. Measure from the center of the cylinder hole to each face of the door to determine which size you need.
