This Hoppe HLS9000 Bottom Gear is a roller version multipoint lock component featuring automatic locking functionality. Designed for use in Hoppe 3-point locking systems, this bottom gear engages rollers that automatically drop into the locked position when the door closes.

The unit features a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate width. The handle height measures 36 inches (914mm), with the bottom roller positioned at 29.53 inches (750mm) when in the down, locked position. The deadbolt throw is 1 inch (25.4mm), and the maximum cutoff is 2.36 inches (60mm). Five screws are included for installation.

How to Operate

To Open (Unlock Door):

Turn thumb turn to release lever from locked position
Push down on lever to raise locking rollers
Open door

To Close (Lock Door):

Lift up on lever to set roller
When you hear a click, rollers are engaged in the up position
Close door and rollers will automatically drop down into locked position
Turn thumb turn to secure rollers in locked position
