Hoppe HLS9000 Bottom Gear – Two Roller, 35mm Backset (8778275)

This Hoppe bottom gear is designed for the HLS9000 series multipoint lock system. It features a two roller automatic locking mechanism that provides secure engagement when the door is closed. The rollers automatically drop into the locked position when the door closes, and the thumb turn secures them in place.

The unit has a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset with a handle height of 36 inches (914mm). The bottom roller is positioned at 29.53 inches (750mm) from the handle center when in the down position. The faceplate measures 5/8 inch (16mm) wide, and the deadbolt throw is 0.55 inches (14mm). A maximum cutoff of 2.36 inches (60mm) is available for fitting adjustments.

To operate: unlock by turning thumb turn, push down on lever to raise rollers, then open door
To lock: lift lever to set rollers until you hear a click, close door for automatic engagement, then turn thumb turn to secure
