This Hoppe 16mm HLS9000 manual middle extension features two swing hooks and is designed for use in multipoint locking systems. The middle extension connects to the lower assembly just above the springlatch, and a shootbolt extension attaches to the top to complete the multipoint lock configuration.

The extension measures 63.46 inches (1612mm) in total length with a 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate width. The two swing hooks are positioned at 23.62 inches (600mm) and 59.05 inches (1500mm) from the bottom, providing secure multi-point engagement. Each hook has a projection of 3/4 inch (19.5mm) with a square end design.
