Hoppe HLS7 Shootbolt Active Gear – 45/92, LH (2666498)

This Hoppe HLS7 Swinghook Shootbolt Active Gear is the bottom half of a multipoint lock system designed for left-hand inswing doors. Part of the HLS 7 series, this lock features one-motion operation where turning the handle retracts the deadbolt, providing convenient egress.

The active gear includes both a shootbolt and swinghook positioned at 24.41 inches (620mm) from the handle center. With a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and 92mm PZ spacing, this lock is compatible with standard Hoppe handlesets using 1/2 spindles. The handle height measures 36 inches (914mm).

This multipoint lock includes a panic release function on the interior side. When exiting from inside, simply push down on the lever and both the deadbolt and latch will retract simultaneously. The thumbturn automatically returns to the vertical position.

Notes

This is the bottom half of the multipoint lock system. The top extension is determined by door height and tongue position.
Handing can be changed prior to installation if needed. The spring latch can be pulled out to reverse the panic function side.
Door handing is determined from the exterior: hinges on the left equals left-hand door, hinges on the right equals right-hand door.
The half-moon slot next to the handle hub must have the nub in the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position for proper gear operation.
All HLS 7 locks have the same backset and are handed for left or right hand doors.
