Hoppe HLS 7 Active Shootbolt Lock – 45mm, Left Hand (2664214)

This Hoppe HLS 7 Series multipoint lock body is the bottom component of a complete multipoint locking system. Designed for left-hand doors, this active shootbolt lock features a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and a 36 inch (914.4mm) handle height, making it suitable for standard residential and commercial door applications.

The lock case measures 1-5/8 x 7-7/8 inches (41.3mm x 200mm) and includes a 1 inch (25.4mm) deadbolt throw for secure engagement. This unit incorporates a panic release function for egress compliance – one side remains locked while the other side allows emergency exit. The spring latch can be reversed if the panic function needs to be on the opposite side.

How do I determine if I need a left or right hand lock?

Door handing is determined from the exterior (outside) of the door. If the hinges are on the left when viewed from outside, you need a Left Hand lock. If hinges are on the right, you need a Right Hand lock.

Can I change which side has the panic release function?

Yes, the panic function can be reversed. Pull out the spring latch and reverse it to change which side has the panic release.

What additional parts do I need for a complete multipoint lock system?

This is the bottom half of the multipoint lock system. You will also need a top extension, which is determined by your door height.
