HOPPE HLS9000 16mm Manual Tongue Bottom Gear for Multipoint Lock Systems

The HOPPE HLS9000 series represents the current generation of European-style multipoint lock hardware, featuring durable stainless steel faceplates that have replaced the older gold-colored HLS2000 versions. MPLocks carries these 16mm (5/8 inch) faceplate bottom gear assemblies across multiple backset and handle height configurations, making it easier to find the exact replacement for your existing door hardware. If you're upgrading from an older gold faceplate HOPPE system, note that both the lower gear and upper extensions must be replaced together for proper compatibility.

Manual Tongue Operation for Reliable Door Security

These bottom gear units feature manual locking operation, meaning you simply lift the door handle to engage the tongue into the strike plate. This design provides dependable horizontal locking force between the handle position and the bottom of the door frame. Each unit includes a lock case with a 1-inch deadbolt throw, and when paired with a matching top extension, the system delivers three secure locking points: one deadbolt and two tongues distributed along the door edge.

Available Backset and Handle Height Configurations

This collection includes bottom gear units in 35mm (1-3/8 inch), 45mm (1-3/4 inch), and 60mm (2-3/8 inch) backsets to match common European-style door preparations. Handle heights range from 35-1/2 inches to 37 inches, with the 37-inch configuration specifically designed for Crestline, Vetter, and SNE Corp doors. All units feature 92mm PZ spacing, the standard distance from handle center to cylinder center used in most European multipoint systems.
