This upper shootbolt extension tip is designed as a replacement for old style G-U multipoint locks. It features a yellow dichromate finish and is compatible with Superior Door systems and other doors using the original G-U multipoint lock configuration.

The shootbolt tip operates with a reversing gear mechanism that extends the tip when the bottom receptacle with serrated teeth is pulled down. This design ensures reliable engagement with the door frame for secure locking.
