GU New Breed 3-Point Lock – 45/92, Key Above (6-33974-01-R)

This GU active New Breed multipoint lock is a 3-point locking system featuring automatic latch bolts on both the top and bottom. When the door closes, the latch bolts automatically extend to hold the door in place. The door is not fully secured until you throw the thumbturn or key to engage the locked position. This design eliminates the need to lift the lever when locking.

The lock body features a 45mm (1-3/4 inch) backset and 92mm (3-5/8 inch) PZ measurement. The stainless steel faceplate is 16mm (5/8 inch) wide with an overall length of 81-1/4 inches (2063mm). The faceplate is croppable – you can cut up to 9-1/2 inches from the bottom and 10-1/2 inches from the top to fit your door.

The key cylinder is positioned above the lever handle. Standard handle height is 35 inches (889mm) from the bottom of the faceplate. The top latch bolt is located 31-1/4 inches (793mm) above the handle, and the bottom latch bolt is 21-3/8 inches (543mm) below the handle.

Notes

  • Faceplate can be cropped: bottom up to 9-1/2 inches, top up to 10-1/2 inches

  • To change handing on center latch: Remove 3 T-25 star screws from faceplate and flip latch
  • To change handing on top and bottom latches: Insert 3/16 inch hex screwdriver into hole on backside of latch, unscrew counterclockwise, remove latch, spin around and reattach
  • Always test lock before installing

Can I change the handing on this lock?

Yes, this lock can be rehanded in the field. The center latch requires removing 3 T-25 screws and flipping it. The top and bottom latches are changed using a 3/16 inch hex screwdriver to remove, rotate, and reattach each latch.

Can I cut this lock to fit my door?

Yes, the faceplate is croppable. You can cut up to 9-1/2 inches from the bottom and 10-1/2 inches from the top to fit your specific door height.
