Roto Multipoint Lock Gearbox – 35/92 (40234-35)

This Roto Multipoint Lock Gearbox is designed for use with current-style Roto multipoint locks. It features alligator teeth at the top and bottom for quick and secure attachment to upper and lower extensions. This new-style gearbox is not compatible with older Roto locks that use pins for connection.

The gearbox has a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset and 92mm PZ (handle center to cylinder center). The faceplate measures 5/8 inch (16mm) wide and 15-3/4 inches (400mm) long. The latch is a combination of metal and plastic construction.

Operation

To Lock: Lift handle to engage locking devices and extend deadbolt. Turn cylinder thumb turn or key to secure door in locked position.

To Unlock: Turn cylinder thumb turn or key to unlock. Depress handle to retract deadbolt and unlock door.

To Change Latch Handing: Insert a small screwdriver into the round hole above the latch, push down on screwdriver handle, remove latch and reverse, then push back into the lock body.
