Amesbury 400 Series Inactive Handleset – ORB (395114-ORB)

This Amesbury 400 Series inactive handleset is designed for secondary passive doors equipped with multipoint locking systems. The curved lever design with rounded radius top escutcheon plate provides an elegant appearance while delivering reliable shootbolt operation on inactive doors.

This passage-type hardware allows the levers to move and operate the shootbolts without requiring a key cylinder or interior thumbturn. It's the ideal solution for the passive leaf of double French doors or any secondary door that needs shootbolt control without keyed access.

The handleset features a spring-loaded cassette mechanism for smooth lever action and uses a snap ring retention system rather than set screws to secure the handles to the escutcheon plate. While the hardware is handed, the handles can be removed and reattached to accommodate either left or right hand door configurations.
