GU Single Point Mortise Lock – 40/92 (6-C4871-40-0-SS)

This GU single point mortise lock is designed for single point door applications and features a 40mm backset with 92mm PZ spacing. The lock case is stamped with "G-U 40/92" for easy identification. It uses a Euro profile 5-pin cylinder (not included) and features a key-below-lever configuration.

The faceplate measures 5/8 inches (16mm) wide by 11-1/2 inches (292mm) long with radius ends for a clean installation. To operate, lift the handle to throw the deadbolt, then turn the thumb turn or key to secure in the locked position.

How to Change Handing

This lock is reversible. To change handing: lift handle to extend deadbolt, depress slot behind latch and pull latch out, depress handle to retract deadbolt latch, rotate latch and push back in until you hear a click, then test the lock. If you have difficulty getting the spring latch to pop out, you can unscrew the faceplate to reverse handing.
