Multipoint Lock Replacement Kit – 45/92, 36" HH (49902-1645SB-01-KIT)

This comprehensive multipoint lock replacement kit is designed to replace a variety of discontinued multipoint locks from brands such as Fuhr, Roto, and others that are no longer available. If your existing multipoint lock has failed or is no longer serviceable, this kit provides a complete solution with all the components needed for installation.

The kit is configured for doors with a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset, 92mm PZ (handle center to cylinder center), and a 36 inch (914mm) handle height. The overall length accommodates doors measuring 76.61 to 80.56 inches (1946-2046mm). The top extension is croppable, allowing you to cut off up to 3.94 inches (100mm) from the top to achieve the correct fit for your door.

Notes

Please confirm all measurements before ordering to ensure this is the correct replacement for your door
Latch handing can be reversed by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole on the back of the latch, pushing forward, twisting, and releasing
Test door operation before closing after installation
The small mishanding latch must be depressed to operate the lock

Installation - Cutting to Length

Lay the old lock and new lock side by side to determine length
The top shootbolt extension has serrated teeth; the middle extension has a receptacle (coupler) for the teeth
Extend the top bolt before cutting
With shootbolt extended (locked position), use a hacksaw to cut equal amounts from the front and back of the mechanism
Ensure as many teeth fit into the receptacle as possible; gap between serrated ends must be less than 3 teeth
Install cover plate to reinforce connection between middle and upper shootbolt extension

Operation

To Lock: Lift handle, then turn thumb turn or key to extend deadbolt
To Unlock: Turn thumb turn or key, then depress lever
