Single Point Sliding Door Lock – 45mm Backset (40218)

This single point mortise lock is designed for sliding glass doors constructed with wood, vinyl, or fiberglass frames. The lock operates using a hook mechanism where the strike mounted on the door jamb engages with the lock body, and a flat metal plate slides down to secure the door in the locked position.

The lock features a steel faceplate with a Yellow DiChromate (YDI) finish for corrosion resistance. The faceplate measures 10-1/2 inches (267mm) in length with radius ends and is 25/32 inches (20mm) wide. With a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset and 5-5/8 inch (143mm) screw hole spacing, this lock fits standard sliding door preparations.
