Rekeyable Sliding Glass Door Cylinder – Semi-Restricted (15033)

This 5-pin American rekeyable cylinder is designed for sliding glass door applications and works with most surface mount handle sets. The cylinder features a 1-1/4 inch tumbler lock with a hardened break-away tail piece measuring 2-1/8 inches, accommodating door thicknesses up to 1-3/4 inches.

This is the most common keyed cylinder type used with deadbolt, single point, and multipoint locks. It is compatible with brands such as Andersen, Peachtree, Pease, and Amesbury handlesets. Please note this cylinder is not compatible with Pella hardware.

Important Notice

This cylinder uses a semi-restricted keyway. While the keyway profile matches standard Weiser and Kwikset cylinders, it is thinner and will not accept standard Weiser or Kwikset keys. Keyblanks for this cylinder are not readily available from hardware stores or locksmiths.

No, this cylinder uses a semi-restricted keyway that is thinner than standard Weiser or Kwikset keyways. While the profile is similar, standard keys will not fit, and replacement keyblanks are not readily available from hardware stores or locksmiths.

What is the difference between part 15033 and 15034?

Part 15033 is keyed different, meaning each cylinder comes with its own unique key. Part 15034 should be specified when ordering multiple cylinders that need to be keyed alike.

Will this cylinder work with my Pella door hardware?

No, this cylinder is not compatible with Pella hardware. It works with Amesbury handlesets and other brands including Andersen, Peachtree, and Pease.
