Peachtree Top Auxiliary Drive Bar – 6' 8" IPD (37400062)

This top auxiliary locking module drive bar is designed for Peachtree's Old Citadel IPD French Swinging doors with steel door systems. The flat drive bar connects the center lock with the bottom auxiliary lock, activating the multipoint lock latch/bolts when extended.

The IPD steel door system features 3 latches that become bolts when extended. This drive bar is essential for proper operation of the top locking mechanism.

"T" stamped in metal (indicates this is the Top bar)

What is the difference between the top and bottom auxiliary drive bars?

Both bars are the same length (33-3/16 inches), but the pin placement is different. The top bar is stamped with a "T" to help identify it.

Why does my replacement bar look different from the original?

Some replacement bars may have a notch cut out or extra pins on both sides of the notch. As long as the length and nylon pin placement for the top latch are the same, the bar will function correctly.

Do I need to remove the door to replace this drive bar?
