Hoppe Caradco 77" Replacement Lock Kit (4990236-KIT)

This Hoppe multipoint lock kit is designed to replace the 5-point FUHR lock found in 77-inch active Caradco doors. The original FUHR lock features both rollers and shootbolts, while this replacement lock includes shootbolts only without rollers.

The kit provides all the components needed for a complete lock replacement, including the gear box, top shootbolt tip (shorter), bottom shootbolt tip (longer), and middle extension. The handle height is adjustable from 33 to 37 inches, though for proper Caradco replacement, the lock must be trimmed so the handle sits at 35-1/2 inches from the bottom of the door.

Notes

Trim approximately 2-1/4 inches off the bottom shootbolt so the handle sits at 35-1/2 inches when connected to the gear box

CAUTION: Lock will be hot after trimming. Do not use an electric saw as the lock will discolor and can warp
Make sure to install the correct shootbolt tip on the correct end (shorter tip on top, longer tip on bottom)
