GU Monolock SPL – 55/92, Stainless Steel (6-C4873-55-0-SS)

This GU Europa Monolock single point mortise lock provides reliable security for interior and exterior doors. Featuring a 2-5/32 inch (55mm) backset and 3-5/8 inch (92mm) PZ spacing, this lock is designed for standard door applications with a 35-inch handle height.

The lock features a 1-inch deadbolt throw with lever-controlled releasing of both the deadbolt and latch. The American cylinder system operates with a 90-degree turn of key or thumb turn, offering compatibility with Schlage "C" keyway systems. The non-handed design allows easy latch reversal for left or right-hand door installations.

Built with heavy-duty mortise construction and a reinforced lever return spring system, this lock delivers long-lasting performance. The stainless steel finish provides increased corrosion resistance for demanding environments.

How to Rehand the Latch

Lift handle to extend deadbolt
Depress slot behind latch and pull latch out
Depress handle to retract deadbolt latch
Rotate latch and push back in until you hear a click
Test lock to verify proper function before installation

The spring latch should retract flush with the faceplate if installed correctly.
