GU-Ferco has produced several distinct lock series over the years, including Tripact, Europa, Cremona, Panther, Eagle, Hawk, and Secury Automatic systems. Each series has specific requirements for strike plates, cylinders, and handleset trim. The hardware in this collection is designed to work across these various platforms, though confirming your specific lock model before ordering ensures a proper fit. Many GU-Ferco systems share the standard 92mm PZ (handle spacing) measurement, making handleset trim selection more straightforward once you've identified your backset and door thickness.

Venice Collection and Berlin Style Handleset Trim

GU-Ferco's Venice Collection offers a sleek, modern aesthetic that replaces the discontinued Belissimo 4100 and 5100 series. Available in active, inactive, and dummy configurations, these trim sets feature the 30mm narrow plate design that provides a refined appearance on entry doors. The Berlin lever style offers an alternative with its wider 65mm plate for installations requiring a minimum 2-inch backset. Both styles accommodate American cylinder hardware, allowing integration with your existing keying system.

Selecting the Right Strike Plates and Hardware

Door thickness is critical when ordering GU-Ferco strike plates. Most residential doors measure either 1-3/4 inches or 2-1/4 inches thick, and strike plates are manufactured with specific lip extensions to match. Using the wrong strike plate can prevent proper bolt engagement or leave gaps that compromise security. Square end strikes work well for manual fitting during installation, while full lip strike plate kits provide a complete solution with matching top, bottom, and center strikes included.
