Fuhr 3 Roller Automatic Multipoint Lock Replacement Kit – 37" Handle Height (4990201-KIT)

This comprehensive replacement kit is designed to replace the Fuhr 3 Roller Automatic Version Multipoint Lock. The kit includes everything needed for installation: a bottom multipoint lock gear, top extension, stainless steel screws, underplate, and auto release roller strike.

The replacement kit maintains the same critical dimensions as the original Fuhr lock, including the 37-inch (940mm) handle height, 1-3/8 inch (35mm) backset, and 5/8 inch (16mm) faceplate width. The bottom roller position remains at 29.53 inches (750mm) and the top roller at 28.74 inches (730mm) when locked. The deadbolt throw has been upgraded from the original 1/2 inch to a full 1 inch (25.4mm) for enhanced security.

The overall length of the replacement kit is 79.25 inches (2013mm) and can be cropped up to 8.66 inches (220mm) to accommodate various door heights.

Notes

The roller located approximately 7.25 inches (184mm) above the handle on the original Fuhr lock triggers the automatic locking function
When replacing with this kit, the jamb strike must be replaced with the new auto release version included
The original Fuhr auto-roller moves horizontally while the replacement moves vertically
Rollers should move up and lock into place when the handle is depressed
Once the door is closed, the auto pin hits the auto release strike and releases the rollers to the locked position (down)
Roller is adjustable in its spin only, not up or down
Optional strike plates available in Nickel or Oil Rubbed Brass
