Fuhr Roller Multipoint Lock – 35/92, Discontinued (499010699)

This Fuhr 92-1/2 inch roller version multipoint lock features two roller locking devices and a deadbolt. This lock has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. A replacement is required.

Replacement Options

Two replacement options are available for this discontinued Fuhr lock:

Option 1 – 4990280: Hoppe replacement with roller on bottom and shootbolt on top. This is the easiest replacement option as it is a 3-piece system with a bottom roller in the same position as the Fuhr lock and a shootbolt on top instead of a roller. The top extension fits doors from 91-3/8 inches to 95-5/16 inches tall and will need to be cut to length. This option does not require moving roller strikes on the door jamb. Kit includes bottom gear, middle extension, top shootbolt, socket strike, and stainless steel installation screws.

Option 2 – 4990205: Hoppe replacement with 2 rollers. This replacement is more complex and involves moving strikes on the door jamb. The lock fits doors from 89-3/4 inches to 99-7/16 inches tall and will need to be cut to length. Kit includes bottom gear, top extension, and stainless steel installation screws.

Notes

Handle height of both replacement kits is 36 inches – replacement requires trimming an inch off the bottom of the new lock so the handle is at 35 inches to match the holes bored into your door
