AGB ARTech Monobloc Gear Box – 16mm Faceplate (A50191)

The AGB ARTech Monobloc Gear Box is a precision-engineered component designed for tilt and turn windows equipped with multipoint locking systems. Manufactured by AGB, this gear box features a 16mm faceplate width and is available in multiple backset configurations to accommodate various window profiles.

This gear box is available in seven backset measurements: 15mm (19/32 inches), 25mm (1 inch), 30mm (1-3/16 inches), 35mm (1-3/8 inches), 40mm (1-9/16 inches), 45mm (1-3/4 inches), and 50mm (1-31/32 inches). The backset is measured from the front of the faceplate to the center of the spindle hole.

Notes

  • An alignment tab/button is located on the face of the lock. After hardware is installed, added pressure on the handle will cause the button to break/shear off, ensuring proper alignment.
  • When replacing the drive rod portion of the multipoint lock assembly, the rod must be cut to length.
  • A screw hole must be punched in the bar during installation.
  • This product is designed for new construction and professional installation. A Punch Press/Cutting Tool #4908 is required for proper installation.
