Ashland Active Multipoint Lock – 70mm Backset, Radius (4991635)

This Ashland active multipoint lock features concealed shootbolt rods that extend at the top and bottom of the door panel for secure multi-point locking. The lock body includes a pre-attached faceplate with radius ends and is designed for doors requiring a 2-3/4 inch (70mm) backset with a riveted 3/8 inch spacer.

This lock is used by several door manufacturers including Peachtree. Please note that this lock does not fit Marvin doors. The faceplate is permanently riveted to the lock case.

How to Change Handing

Insert screwdriver into slot behind latch
Pull down on handing release – latch pops out
Rotate latch and push back into lock case
Always check function of lock before closing door

Installation Tips

The rods have a guide bracket at the top and bottom of the door that needs to be removed to access the rods. The rods feature a hex shape that allows an extended socket to fit. If you remove the top bracket and top rod, the lock body may sometimes be removed with the bottom rod still attached.

Can I change the handing on this lock?

Yes, insert a screwdriver into the slot behind the latch, pull down on the handing release until the latch pops out, rotate the latch, and push it back into the lock case.

Will this lock fit my Marvin door?

No, this lock does not fit Marvin doors. It is designed for Peachtree and other compatible door brands.
