Pella 85mm PZ Handleset Kit (40177)

This special order replacement handleset kit is designed for older Pella doors with single-point mortise locks featuring an uncommon 85mm PZ (handle spacing). The kit provides a complete solution for replacing discontinued Pella hardware, including the mortise lock body, European profile key cylinder, strike plate, handleset trim, and all necessary mounting hardware.

The included single-point mortise lock features a 2-3/8 inch (60mm) backset and a 7/8 x 9-3/8 inch faceplate with square corners. Note that the original Pella lock had a 2-3/16 inch (55mm) backset and radius corners, so some modification to the door jamb may be required during installation.

This handleset is non-handed, making it suitable for both right-hand and left-hand door configurations. The active function includes a keyed European profile cylinder on the exterior and a thumb-turn on the interior for convenient operation.
