Amesbury P3000 5-Point Lock – 60/92, 95"-108.5" Doors (20-6760-32023)

This Amesbury P3000 20mm multipoint lock features a 5-point locking system with Rhino hooks and shootbolts, designed for active doors ranging from 95 inches to 108-1/2 inches in height. The lock uses an American cylinder with the key positioned above the lever.

The P3000 operates differently than most multipoint locks. Sometimes referred to as a "babysitter lock," the deadbolt can be locked independently without engaging the other locking devices. To lock the door, throw the deadbolt first, then lift the handle if you want to engage the additional hooks and shootbolts. To unlock, retract the deadbolt and push the lever down to open. This is a deadbolt-activated system—always use the deadbolt first when locking or unlocking.

The Rhino hook and shootbolt design can be used with or without an astragal. Note that tongue versions are specifically designed for use with astragals.
